I Love Martin Luther King, A Man as Great as His Dream
-------My Review about Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream'
Today, I have read the article 'I Have a Dream', whenever I read this speech, I can be encouraged by Martin Luther King's passion. The I Have a Dream speech by Martin Luther King is inspiring, motivational and persuasive.
"I Have a Dream" is a world-famous speech by Martin Luther King, Jr., in which he claimed racial equality and an end to discrimination. Martin Luther King made this speech on August 28, 1963, was a incredible moment of the American Civil Rights Movement. 'I Have a Dream' is often considered to be one of the greatest and most notable speeches in human history.
The "I Have A Dream Speech" by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.," was one of hope for everyone, not just the black race people. He stood up for and protested the injustice and unfair treatment of the Black Race, but also asked us to forgive and display harmony with all races.
Martin Luther King, Jr. refers to the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and made a promise that all men, black and white, would be guaranteed the "inalienable Rights" of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." Not only does a person seek this when it comes to equality in the workplace and employment, fairness in housing, obtaining lodging, obtaining consumer goods, education and healthcare, but also in obtaining wealth and a higher standard of living for his/her family to achieve the things never before thought possible.
Martin Luther King is a great inspiring leader who made a difference in the lives of many people. But I think It is so sad that his "Birthday" can't be celebrated as a wonderful and life-changing event in history. Nowadays, Many of us have forgot how we should stand together as people, support each other, respect each other and truly love one another.So If we could celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day to remind us about what he did for our and to continue his dream of peace, love and justice, that would be great.
Today people can live and work side by side without regards to color or race because of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It is in this very moment that we can say to ourselves how lucky all of us are for having the chance to live in his dream. I Love Martin Luther King, He is a man as great as his dream.
